Dr. William H. Peterson
School: After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Biology at Iowa State University, Dr. Peterson completed his D.D.S. at the University of Iowa in 1977, joining the Long Prairie Dental Clinic immediately thereafter.
Personal Profile: When not in the office you will likely find him hunting, fishing, golfing or catching up with the latest information on each topic via print or television. Bill has been married for 36 years with a son (William G) and a daughter (Stefanie). He is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Long Prairie.
Professional Profile: Bill is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Iowa and Minnesota Bow Hunter's Associations, Bass Masters, Pope and Young Club and the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Dr. John Nei
School: Dr. John Nei is a lifelong resident of Minnesota. He did his undergraduate studies at St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN. Upon graduating in 1970 from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, he served as a Captain in the Army Dental Corps until 1972.
Personal Profile: He and his wife raised their family in Long Prairie and enjoy spending time with their four children and 12 grandchildren. They participate in outdoor seasonal activities and perform volunteer dentistry annually in Central America.
Professional Profile: Dr. Nei is Past President of the West Central District Dental Society and the Minnesota Dental Association. He is the past chair of the Minnesota Political Action Committee and Past Vice Chair of the American Dental Association Political Action Committee.
He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. Dr. Nei was the Recipient of the 2006 Presidents Award from the Minnesota Dental Association.
In 1973, Dr. Nei and his family moved to Long Prairie, MN, where he and doctors Mike March and Robert Hart Jr. formed the Long Prairie Dental Clinic. They moved to the present location where they built a clinic in 1974.
